Reading ‘Little Women’, at the IHR on November 7th

In a change to our previously-advertised schedule, Dr Anne Boyd Rioux (University of New Orleans) will be speaking at our November 7th seminar on ‘The Story of Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women‘ as the novel nears its 150th anniversary in 2018. The paper is drawn from Dr Boyd Rioux’s book project, The Story of Little Women: Its Birth, Life, and Enduring Power, which is supported by a National Endowment for the Humanities Public Scholar Award.

The talk takes place at 5.30pm at the Institute of Historical Research, University of London in The Peter Marshall Room (N204), Senate House North Block. All are welcome to attend.

Looking forward to seeing all you Little Women fans there – as well as anyone who’s never read it and wonders what all the fuss is about!
